From $2,775 per person, with a single supplement of just $554 — seven days along the road north, where the food is the reason to stop.
This is a journey built around the table. It begins in the Hunter Valley with chocolate, cheese and a tasting at one of the region’s celebrated wineries, then climbs inland through the New England high country to the waterfalls of Oxley Wild Rivers. Two nights at a mountain retreat above Dorrigo put the World Heritage rainforest at your doorstep, with the artisan village of Bellingen a short drive below.
From there the road turns coastward. A behind-the-scenes morning at Levenvale Farm, a family-run property known for its free-range pork and regenerative farming, before two nights by the sea at Coffs Harbour. Then south through the mangrove boardwalks of Urunga to Cassegrain Wines for lunch among the vines, and a final night by the water at Port Macquarie. The journey closes on Lake Macquarie with a BBQ lunch cruise across Australia’s largest coastal saltwater lake, gliding home past bays and bushland.
Food, wine, rainforest and coastline — unhurried, and all of it included.
