Viking Anubis

Anubis – the Egyptian god of the afterlife Depicted with the head of a jackal, Anubis was the ancient Egyptian god associated with mummification and the afterlife. During the Early Dynastic period and the Old Kingdom, he was revered as the primary deity of the dead, a role later assumed by Osiris, god of the underworld. Anubis is credited with inventing the art of embalming, which he first practiced on the corpse of Osiris.
